
According to the forecast, temperatures are expected to rise in Islamabad and other cities, leading to extreme heat for the residents.
The department stated that the weather will remain dry and hot in Islamabad and surrounding areas today. Additionally, most districts in Punjab are expected to experience similar hot and dry weather conditions.
In the southern districts of Punjab and Sindh, temperatures will be 2 to 4 degrees higher than usual, which could cause difficulties for the public.
Furthermore, the forecast predicts dry and hot weather in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, with an expected increase in the intensity of heat in these areas.
In Karachi, temperatures are likely to reach between 37 to 39 degrees Celsius. During the day, hot and dry winds may blow from the northwest, but evening sea breezes are expected to resume, potentially bringing some relief from the heat.
The Meteorological Department has advised the public to take precautionary measures, especially individuals who may be more vulnerable to the effects of the heat. Citizens are encouraged to drink plenty of water, avoid direct sunlight, and wear appropriate clothing to minimize the impact of the heat.
