According to the Met office, a strong westerly wave is expected to enter western parts of the country on February 24. The wave is likely to prevail in the Northern areas till March 2.

Punjab

According to weather prediction, Murree, Galliyat, twin cities, and other areas are expected to experience rain-wind from February 25 to March 1.

Rain-wind/thunderstorm is predicted in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh from February 25 to 28.

Rains are also expected in Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Jhang, Bhakkar, Multan, Taunsa Sharif, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Okara and Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur from February 25 to 27.

Kashmir/Gilgit Baltistan

The various areas in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir including Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Shigar are expected to have rain-wind/thunderstorm with little heavy snowfall from February 25 to March 2.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

According to details shared by weather department, widespread rain-wind/thunderstorms with little heavy snow/rainfall are expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Bunner, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Waziristan, Kohat Karak, Bannu, and D.I. Khan from February 24  to March 1.

Balochistan

Rain-wind/thunderstorm with snowfall over hills is predicted in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Mastung, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Chagi, Noushki, Kalat, Khuzdar, Barkhan, Harnai, Zhob and Musakhel from February 24 to 26.

Sindh

The Met office forecast light rain-wind/thunderstorm for various districts in Sindh including Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, and Sukkur on February 25 and 26.
