
During the day, temperatures will remain high, especially in South Punjab, Sindh, and southern Balochistan. These regions are likely to experience “above-normal temperatures,” which could lead to an increase in the intensity of the heat.
Cloudy skies are expected by evening and night in several regions including Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Pothohar region, and northern and southeastern parts of Balochistan. The Met Office predicts “partly cloudy conditions” in these areas.
Light rain and strong gusty winds are likely in some parts, while “heavy rainfall and hailstorms may occur at a few locations,” the department said. Although showers might bring temporary relief, “overall heat is expected to persist.”

Weather experts have advised people to “avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun and increase water intake.” Additionally, district administrations have been directed to “ensure precautionary measures in view of possible hailstorms or heavy rainfall.”
