Karachi will face extreme heat today with temperatures touching 40°C in the afternoon and dropping to around 27°C at night.

Karachi residents are once again bracing for a tough day under the scorching sun.

According to Weather forecast and the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the city will experience clear skies with little chance of rain.

The hot and humid conditions are expected to test the patience of commuters and outdoor workers, while the evenings may provide slight relief with cooler winds.

Hourly forecasts suggest the temperature will climb quickly after sunrise, crossing 35°C by late morning.

Around noon, the heat will peak at 40°C and remain high until the late afternoon.

By evening, cooler sea breezes are likely to bring the temperature down toward 30°C, eventually reaching a low of 27°C at night.

Looking ahead, the weekly forecast predicts similar weather with maximum temperatures ranging between 38°C and 40°C.

Humidity levels will remain high, making the heat feel more intense. Compared to last week, Karachi is facing slightly higher temperatures, so staying hydrated and avoiding unnecessary outdoor activity is strongly advised.

Health experts warn that hot and humid weather can cause dehydration, headaches, and fatigue.

Citizens are urged to drink plenty of water, wear light clothing, and use sun protection during the day.
