According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Lahore is expected to receive intermittent rains throughout the day on Sunday.

The minimum temperature in the city has been recorded at 9°C while maximum temperature is likely to reach 16°C. The wind of five-kilometer-per hour, with 95 per cent humidity, added the chill to city’s weather.

The mercury has dropped across the city, including areas such as Garhi Shahu, Mall Road, Anarkali, Samanabad, Chowk Yatim Khana, Iqbal Town, Township, Johar Town, Thokar Niaz Baig, and Chungi Amar Sidhu.

The Meteorological Department has asked residents to prepare for more showers, particularly in the afternoon and evening, which will further intensify the cold.
