Drizzle and light rain likely in Karachi

KARACHI (Web Desk): The weather in Karachi is expected to remain humid and partly cloudy during the next 24 hours.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of drizzle and light rain in some places in the morning and night, and the maximum temperature in the city may reach 33 to 35 degrees Celsius.

The PMD says that the humidity in the air is 78 percent and sea winds are blowing at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour.

The city recorded a minimum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in various parts of the country today.

Rain has been predicted at a few places in Islamabad, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan today.

Light rain in the city and its surroundings has made the weather pleasant, while intermittent rain continues in Lahore city and its surroundings along with cool winds.

Due to the rain, several feeders tripped, which suspended power supply. In addition, intermittent rains continue in Pakpattan, which inundates low-lying areas.
