Cold, dry weather to prevail in most parts of country: PMD

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): The Meteorological office has forecast mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country.
During the next twelve hours, rain-wind and thunderstorm snowfall are expected at isolated places in north-east Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to weather forecast.
As per PMD predictions, northeastern Punjab is also expected to have light to moderate fog in patches during morning hours.
During this morning, temperature recorded in Lahore at ten degree centigrade, Karachi at fifteen, Islamabad and Muzafarabad at seven, Murree at zero, Peshawar at eight, Quetta and Gilgit at minus-one degree centigrade.
The cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow is expected in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, according to weather forecast.
