According to a spokesperson for Punjab Rescue, a brother and sister died of electrocution in the Harbanspura area of Lahore, while a 20-year-old youth died in Sherakot and two students died when the roof of a madrassa collapsed in the Manchanabad area of Bahawalnagar. A 10-year-old child lost his life due to electrocution in Medina Town.

The rescue spokesman said that two people were killed by lightning in the Naeemabad area of Okara, two children were killed when a wall and roof collapsed in different areas of Pakpattan, while one person lost his life when a roof collapsed in the Jahan Khan area of Bhakkar.

In addition, 92 people have been injured in various rain-related accidents in the province.
