
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a low-pressure system is currently located over the Indian state of Gujarat. This weather system is gaining strength due to moisture coming from the Arabian Sea.
It is expected to intensify and may develop into a depression. The system could enter the northern Arabian Sea by tomorrow. Once it moves over the sea, rough conditions and high tides are likely.
Under its influence, rainfall is also expected in Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Tharparkar, Mithi, and Umerkot today and tomorrow.
In Karachi, winds may reach speeds of 30 to 40 km/h or even higher, along with possible thunderstorms and brief dust storms.

Besides that, the weather in Punjab remains dry and hot, with temperature of ranging between 39 to 40°C. Wind are relatively low with a speed of 6 km/ h, offering a relief from heat. Skies are expected to be mostly clean during day time, with a bit of clouds floating at night with a little possibility of shower in Punjab region. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and remain alert for any sudden weather changes at night.
