The new air links follow high-level discussions on expanding cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. During a recent visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev highlighted the need for direct air routes to boost trade, tourism, and people-to-people relations between the two nations. Officials say these flights aim to facilitate business travel, improve logistics, and support growing commercial exchange.

Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Founder and CEO of Centrum Holding, described the launch as more than geographic expansion, calling it a “sustainable air bridge” that strengthens regional cooperation and economic activity. The initiative is expected to increase accessibility for tourists, business travelers, and exporters, contributing to economic growth in both countries.
