(Web Desk): Saudi authorities order all Umrah pilgrims to leave by April 18 or face fines and jail.

Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has directed all Umrah pilgrims to leave Saudi Arabia by April 18, issuing a strict warning against overstaying visas.

In an official statement, the ministry said that all holders of Umrah visas must depart the kingdom before the deadline. Authorities emphasized that pilgrims should ensure their return before their visa validity expires to avoid legal consequences.

The directive comes as part of routine measures to regulate the flow of pilgrims and prepare for the upcoming Hajj season, when millions of Muslims from around the world travel to Saudi Arabia. Officials aim to ensure smooth arrangements and prevent overcrowding during peak religious gatherings.

The ministry warned that any violation of visa rules will result in strict penalties, including fines and possible imprisonment. It added that compliance with regulations is essential to maintain order and safety for all visitors.
