DIG Operations Faisal Kamran says that this decline in crime is the result of government support, the implementation of modern technology, and the tireless efforts of the police force.

Some media sources also have an opinion that CCD involvement in certain operations has also made the crime ratio low in big cities like Lahore specifically.
