Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has cancelled 83 flights to the UAE and other Gulf countries today, citing rising security concerns in the region. The disruptions affected passengers across major cities, including:
- Islamabad: 26 flights
- Lahore: 18 flights
- Peshawar: 11 flights
- Karachi: 18 flights
- Sialkot: 6 flights
- Multan: 4 flights
- Faisalabad: 9 flights
Flights to Fujairah from Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar have been suspended for 48 hours, while operations to Al Ain will continue. Other affected Gulf destinations include Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, and Madina.

Officials emphasized that the cancellations are a precaution to ensure passenger safety amid volatile regional conditions. Since the escalation in Gulf tensions, Pakistan has recorded 2,146 flight cancellations over the past 19 days, highlighting the ongoing disruption to air travel.
