Pakistan has suspended 25 additional flights to key Middle Eastern destinations, including the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, as regional airspace remains restricted due to rising security tensions. Travelers are urged to check schedules before planning trips.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) confirmed that Lahore faced the highest disruption, with 14 flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Doha canceled. Sialkot Airport lost four flights, while Multan and Faisalabad saw a combined total of seven cancellations.

Authorities explained that these measures are precautionary, aimed at ensuring passenger safety after alleged attacks on Iran involving the United States and Israel, which prompted temporary airspace closures across several Middle Eastern countries.
This marks the 15th consecutive day of Middle East flight disruptions affecting both inbound and outbound travel from Pakistan. Airport authorities have established information desks to keep passengers updated and advised travelers to avoid unnecessary trips until normal operations resume.
Yesterday, Pakistan had already canceled 72 flights to the Middle East, highlighting the growing impact of regional tensions on international travel. The PCAA emphasized that cancellations are temporary and necessary to safeguard passengers. Travelers are advised to stay in touch with airlines and follow official advisories for the latest updates.
