Several passengers were injured after four bogies of the Tezgam Express derailed near Lodhran, creating panic among travellers late at night.
The Karachi-bound train was travelling from Rawalpindi when the accident occurred near Adam Wahan Railway Station.
Rescue teams quickly reached the site and started relief operations. Injured passengers were shifted to DHQ Hospital Lodhran for treatment.
Officials confirmed that no deaths were reported in the incident, bringing some relief to the families of passengers.
The district administration immediately declared an emergency in hospitals. All doctors and medical staff were called in to ensure prompt medical care.
