Pakistan may see a sharp hike in fuel prices, with petrol expected to rise by Rs4.39 per litre and diesel by Rs5.40 per litre, according to proposed revisions.

According to industry sources, the price of petrol is expected to jump to Rs 257.56 per liter, while diesel could reach Rs 273.78 per liter. Light diesel prices may increase by Rs 6.55 per liter, and kerosene oil could see a Rs 4 rise per liter. The final price revision will be officially announced after approval from the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The expected fuel price hike comes amid ongoing adjustments in global crude oil rates and domestic energy policies. Consumers are advised to stay updated as the increase in petroleum product prices is likely to impact transportation costs, goods pricing, and overall inflation.
