Several people were injured after a blast occurred at Imambargah Khadijat-ul-Kubra in the Tarlai area of Islamabad, triggering an immediate emergency response.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene shortly after the explosion and launched rescue and relief operations. The injured were provided first aid and shifted to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment.
Following the incident, Islamabad Inspector General of Police ordered emergency measures across the federal capital. Security agencies were placed on high alert to prevent any further threats and ensure public safety.
Hospitals across Islamabad, including Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Polyclinic Hospital, and CDA Hospital, declared emergency to handle the situation. According to a spokesperson for PIMS, the emergency was enforced on the instructions of the hospital’s Executive Director.
Medical teams were immediately mobilized, and all major departments, including the main emergency ward, orthopedic unit, burn center, and neurology department, were fully activated to provide urgent care to the injured.

Authorities confirmed that rescue operations were conducted efficiently, and efforts were focused on providing timely medical assistance to victims. Security personnel also secured the area and began initial investigations into the cause of the explosion.
