
According to the details, all government offices, provincial departments, local government institutions and related government offices will remain closed on May 28. This decision has been taken to highlight the importance of Youm-e-Takbeer and ensure the organization of ceremonies on the occasion of this day.

According to a notification from the Sindh government, all provincial departments, local councils, and district offices will remain closed on Youm-e-Takbeer. However, staff in emergency services such as hospitals, rescue, fire brigade, and other important departments will continue to perform their duties as usual so that the public does not suffer any inconvenience.
It may be recalled that on May 28, 1998, Pakistan successfully conducted nuclear explosions in the Chagi Mountains, establishing itself as the world s seventh and the Muslim world s first nuclear power. This day marks a milestone in Pakistan s defense history, when the country demonstrated full force in response to Indian nuclear explosions and made its defenses invincible.
Youm-e-Takbeer is celebrated with enthusiasm across the country every year. Rallies, seminars, speeches, and other events are held in various cities to pay tribute to Pakistan s defense achievements and educate the younger generation about national security.
Special security arrangements are also expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and other cities on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer so that the ceremonies can be held peacefully.
