Good news for Pakistanis seeking ID cards on urgent basis

LAHORE: (Web Desk) The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has reduced the duration to deliver urgent ID cards by eight days to 15 days without increasing the fee.
Citizens who want to get their ID cards on an urgent basis will now be able to get them within 15 days. Prior to that, citizens had to wait for 23 days to get their ID cards on an urgent basis.
Earlier, NADRA had announced new fees for issuing different category ID cards.
Among the fees applicable from this month are Rs750 and Rs1,500 for normal and urgent ID cards, respectively. Apart from this, an amount of Rs2,500 is being charged for the executive ID card.
