(Web Desk): Flight operations at Lahore airport were badly disrupted as 26 domestic and international flights were cancelled.

Flight operations at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore were severely disrupted after 26 domestic and international flights were cancelled, causing major inconvenience for passengers.

According to aviation sources, several inbound and outbound flights were cancelled due to operational disruptions, affecting travellers flying to and from Gulf countries. The cancellations created long waiting times and uncertainty for passengers at the airport.

Among the cancelled flights was AirSial flight PF-796 from Lahore to Abu Dhabi and flight PF-797 from Abu Dhabi to Lahore. Similarly, Airblue flight PA-410 from Lahore to Dubai was also cancelled.

In addition, Qatar Airways flight QR-620 from Doha to Lahore and QR-621 from Lahore to Doha were cancelled. Etihad Airways flight EY-285 from Lahore to Abu Dhabi and Emirates flight EK-625 from Lahore to Dubai were also among the affected flights.

Aviation sources further said that Kuwait Airways flight KU-202 from Lahore to Kuwait and Airblue flight PA-412 from Lahore to Sharjah were also cancelled.

The sudden cancellations left many passengers stranded at the airport, forcing them to wait for updates regarding alternative travel arrangements. Airline staff were seen assisting passengers and informing them about rescheduled or alternative flights.

Officials said passengers affected by the cancellations would be accommodated on other available flights where possible. However, the disruption created significant inconvenience for travellers planning to depart for international destinations from Lahore.
