The Punjab government has officially started the delivery of ATM cards for payments under the Ramzan Nigehban Package, ensuring smooth and hassle-free cash assistance for deserving families.
Under this flagship Ramzan relief initiative, 4 million households across Punjab will receive Rs40 billion in total financial assistance. Each eligible family will be provided Rs10,000, increased from the previous Rs3,000, to help manage rising expenses during the holy month of Ramzan.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif welcomed the launch of the Nigehban ATM cards, calling it a major step toward dignity, transparency, and ease for the public. She emphasized that beneficiaries will no longer need to stand in long queues or face administrative hurdles, as the entire process is digital and transparent.

Digital System, Helpline & Special Cen ters
According to officials, the complete payment mechanism for the Ramzan Nigehban Package has been digitized. Citizens can check details or lodge complaints through the official helpline: 08000-2345.
To further facilitate the public, 160 special Nigehban centers will be established in every tehsil across Punjab to guide beneficiaries and resolve issues.
Additional Ramzan Relief Measures
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the government’s mission is to ensure that no family feels alone during Ramzan. Alongside cash assistance:
- Nigehban Dastarkhwan will provide daily iftar meals to millions of fasting individuals in every tehsil
- Sahulat Bazaars will offer essential food items at subsidized rates
- Special focus will remain on transparency, dignity, and timely delivery of relief
The Ramzan Nigehban Package is being seen as a key step in Punjab’s broader social protection and Ramzan relief strategy, aimed at supporting low-income families during the holy month.
