The Punjab government, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has launched the Hunarmand Naujawan Parwaaz Card, a transformative initiative aimed at providing skilled youth with opportunities for overseas employment. The program is designed to empower young workers, boost Pakistan’s economy through foreign remittances, and help citizens build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

The Parwaaz Card provides interest-free loans to cover essential pre-departure costs such as medical examinations, visa processing and protectorate fees, air tickets, skill verification tests, and Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP) facilitation fees. This initiative ensures that financial barriers do not prevent talented individuals from pursuing international employment.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid CNIC, be residents of Punjab, and hold a job offer letter from an international employer to qualify for the loan. Individuals actively seeking overseas employment can also register to access verified job opportunities from licensed OEPs. Once a job offer is secured, they can transition into loan applicants.

The program emphasises transparency and accountability. Applicants are advised to provide accurate information, upload authentic documents, respond promptly to OEPs and employers, and report any suspicious or fraudulent activity to the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF). Timely compliance with all guidelines is crucial.

The Hunarmand Naujawan Parwaaz Card opens doors for thousands of skilled youth in Punjab to pursue international careers while contributing to Pakistan’s economy.
