The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi held a hearing of the case today. PTI leaders named in the case did not appear in court, prompting the court to express its displeasure.
Among those declared absconders are former Senate Opposition Leader Shibli Faraz, former National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub Khan, Kanwal Shauzab, Sheikh Rashid Shafiq (nephew of former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed), and Zartaj Gul.

Other POs include Mehr Javed, Muhammad Ahmed Chattha, Rao Hassan Nawaz, Bilal Ijaz, Murtaza Khan, Ashraf Sohna, Chaudhry Asif, Shakeel Niazi, Muhammad Ansar Iqbal, Haider Mehmood, Shahir Sikandar, and Hamza Latif.
The court also ordered the confiscation of all immovable properties of the named accused and issued instructions to revenue officers in the relevant districts for the enforcement. The court further directed that if the accused fail to appear before it by the specified date, their properties will be auctioned. Notices have also been issued to the guarantors of the absconding suspects.
