Ali Amin Gandapur, senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, has broken his silence on rumours about quitting the party. He strongly rejected the claims and called them baseless propaganda.
Speaking to the media in Dera, Gandapur said a meeting during a public fair with Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Punjab Governor Saleem Haider was wrongly portrayed. He said clearly, “I am not going anywhere and I stand with Imran Khan.”
He said he has no fear or pressure from anyone and added that if he ever decided to leave, he would announce it openly. Gandapur urged political opponents to stop drama and propaganda and instead focus on public welfare. He said he will stand with PTI and Imran Khan as long as he is alive.
The former chief minister said Imran Khan is not getting justice and that the Constitution, law, and court orders are being mocked. He strongly condemned what he called undemocratic actions against PTI and its founder.

He further said that if meetings with family members are scheduled, Imran Khan should be allowed to meet them. Gandapur said Imran Khan is facing wrongful detention and fake cases, adding that pressure against PTI is not new and has been ongoing for a long time.
Commenting on provincial matters, he said Sohail Afridi is like a brother to him and is now serving as chief minister. He added that development projects launched during his tenure are still continuing.
Gandapur’s statement aims to end speculation. His strong words signal loyalty and party unity. The remarks may calm PTI supporters amid uncertainty.
