LAHORE (Web Desk): Four terrorists were killed in an Intelligence-based Operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Kalat district, as security forces targeted militant hideouts, ISPR said.

Security forces carried out the intelligence-based operation after receiving reports about the presence of terrorists linked to Indian proxy ‘Fitna al Hindustan’, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The military said troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. After an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed during the operation.

ISPR added that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists. The militants were reportedly involved in several terrorist activities in the area, posing a serious threat to local security.

The statement said sanitization operations are continuing in the region to ensure no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remain hidden. It stressed that the counterterrorism drive will continue at full pace to eliminate foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
