(Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has expressed disappointment after his party’s defeat in the recent by-elections, claiming their mandate was ignored.

Gohar warned that if political conditions do not improve, PTI may consider taking “another path.”

Speaking near Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, he said the party would not have contested the by-polls had they known their mandate would again be rejected. PTI also failed to retain the Haripur seat in these elections.

He alleged that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other regions, “someone else’s control is prevailing,” describing it as injustice.

Gohar said the party worked hard to secure recognition for their mandate, but were met with suspicion and denied the seat they won by 27,000 votes.

The PTI chairman warned that public frustration could rise and tolerance might diminish if the situation continues.

He claimed that the Haripur seat was deliberately withheld, though he stressed PTI would not be provoked.

He criticized the denial of meetings despite court orders, adding that the last meeting with authorities occurred on November 4.

Gohar further stated that PTI will follow instructions from the party founder precisely, calling the current treatment “unlawful and unconstitutional.”

He emphasized that the party relies on public support rather than videos or media, asserting that democracy must prevail in Pakistan.

He also announced that a prayer gathering will take place in Peshawar on November 26, highlighting the party’s continuing engagement with its supporters.
