(Web Desk): Rawalpindi ATC issues non-bailable arrest warrant for Alima Khan after her failure to appear in court.

The Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Alima Khan after she failed to appear in court during proceedings on November 26.

The hearing, which involved Alima Khan and 10 other accused, was part of an ongoing terrorism-related case in Rawalpindi. The court expressed concern over her absence and immediately issued the warrant, marking a significant development in the case.

The Special ATC has postponed the next hearing until tomorrow, giving authorities time to execute the arrest warrant and ensure the accused are present for subsequent proceedings.

Court officials confirmed that Alima Khan’s failure to appear constitutes a serious violation of judicial orders. The non-bailable warrant means that she must be taken into custody and cannot secure release on bail until she appears before the court and complies with its directives.

The other ten defendants in the case were present for the hearing, and proceedings regarding their involvement in the alleged acts are expected to continue during the next session.

The Rawalpindi ATC has emphasized strict adherence to legal procedures and warned all accused that failure to appear in court could result in immediate legal action.

This development underscores the court’s resolve to maintain accountability and ensure that all suspects in terrorism-related cases face the judicial process without obstruction. Law enforcement agencies have been directed to locate Alima Khan and ensure her presence at the next hearing.
