(Web Desk): Panic briefly gripped viewers as Ahsan Iqbal’s live TV interview cut off mid-call, later revealed to be a harmless family interruption.

The live broadcast of ARY News’ popular talk show 11th Hour took an unexpected and dramatic turn when a video call with Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal abruptly descended into chaos, leaving viewers shocked and confused.

The minister was joining host Wasim Badami live from his Islamabad residence when the video feed suddenly became unstable. During the discussion, Iqbal appeared momentarily distracted as an unidentified individual entered the room. Seconds later, a loud male voice was heard shouting, “Band kro esay!” creating instant alarm among viewers.

Moments after the shout, the video shook violently before cutting off completely. The screen went black, triggering immediate speculation on social media that the minister may have been attacked or that a serious security incident had unfolded live on air.

Caught off guard, Wasim Badami swiftly shifted the programme to a commercial break, carefully avoiding any assumptions or commentary while clips of the mysterious moment began circulating rapidly online.

Shortly after the break, Ahsan Iqbal reappeared on the show. Addressing concerns, Badami asked about his safety, to which the minister calmly responded, “All is well,” choosing not to go into details at the time.

Later, clarity emerged. Journalists and PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar confirmed that there was no security threat. The disruption was caused by a family gathering at Iqbal’s home, where children accidentally entered his study during the live session. The loud voices and sudden phone grab were purely domestic in nature.

What first looked like a chilling live TV scare ultimately turned out to be an awkward but harmless behind-the-scenes moment.
