It merits a mention here that Pakistan has yet to win a medal in the ongoing Games as 5 out of 7 participating athletes have dropped out.

Two Pakistani athletes on Friday walked out of the Paris Olympics 2024 without any medals. Sprinter Faiqa Riaz crashed out of the Olympics after failing to reach the next round of the 100m in Heat 2.

She finished sixth in the opening round of the race with a time of 12.49 seconds.

Meanwhile, Kishmala Talat crashed out of the women’s 25m pistol shooting as she finished 22nd out of 40 athletes.

Earlier, two Pakistani swimmers Ahmed Durrani, Jahanara Nabi, and shooter Gulfam Joseph were ruled out of the Olympics.
