In a press conference, senior PTI leader Barrister Ali Zafar stated that the party has already submitted its written demands, and now the government has only 7 days to respond. If the government does not provide a written reply, no meeting will take place.
The PTI leader added that there is significant confusion following the 26th Amendment, and the background of the Al-Qadir case is linked to the property of Hassan Nawaz.
Barrister Ali Zafar advised the current rulers to learn from the past, noting that trampling on the constitution is harming the Parliament. He emphasized that the background of the Al-Qadir case is connected to a property owned by Hassan Nawaz in London, which was purchased during Nawaz Sharif s tenure as Prime Minister.
He further stated that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should have questioned when and with whose money the property was bought. The property was originally purchased from Hassan Nawaz, then sold again. NAB had accused it of being sold for 190 million pounds, but after an investigation, it was revealed that there is no evidence to support the claim that the money was stolen.
