Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, People s Labour Bureau in-charge Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed said that the rich have made a budget for the rich, which has nothing for the people. The budget of every class of the elite has been increased. Are all the financial difficulties for the poor? Chaudhry Manzoor said that they are contacting trade unions across the country to protest.

Chaudhry Manzoor said that there will be nationwide protests against the government s economic policy, going to all lengths, all responsibility will fall on the rulers, the increase in the salaries of the Speaker and Chairman is nothing but financial obscenity.

Even the ruler party’s defense minister, Khawaja Asif, criticizes budget calling it “Financial Obscenity”. In his post published on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, Asif said, “The massive increase in the salaries and financial perks of the speaker, deputy speaker, Senate chairperson and deputy chairperson falls under the category of financial obscenity. Please keep the life of the common man in mind -- our honor and dignity are all owed to him.”
