ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again invited Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to dialogue to solve the national problems and also to address the PTI founder’s grievance in prison.

During the ongoing National Assembly session on Wednesday, the prime minister while addressing the PTI representatives said, “If your party’s founder (Imran Khan) has any problem or complaint in jail, then come, sit and talk.”

Shehbaz Sharif further said, “Earlier, our offer was rejected. Who is responsible for this level of bitterness we have reached today?”

He said, “We hesitate to shake hands with each other today. PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan spoke in a very emotional manner.” Mentioning the situation he faced when he was incarcerated, the prime minister said, “I was in jail when my mother died. I had to be taken to the court, on which I requested whether I will get immunity today.”

“I was told in the court that my mother has died. I have also been a cancer patient. But I never complained against the environment of jail. I was brought into the prison van to make my back more painful. We were not allowed to bring food from home. Medications were discontinued. We don’t want these things happen to anyone else,” the PM said.

He raised the question who was responsible for all this situation. After 76 years, today’s politicians have reached such a place that they hesitate to shake hands. “Who is responsible for this bitterness? Despite a lot of criticism in this house, politicians used to share in the sorrow in the past,” he regretted.

The prime minister said that if PTI founder had some problems, discussion can be held again today. “I wish Ali Muhammad Khan had also mentioned that I (Shehbaz Sharif) was in jail when my mother died. The superintendent of the jail was asked to give me relief due to the death of my mother, but it was said to come with attendance,” he said.

“I pinned hopes on the court again. But the court remarked a statement will be recorded. Rana Sanaullah and Khawaja Asif are also present here today. They too were laid on the ground. The same was done with Hamza Shahbaz,” he went on to say.

Concluding the point, the prime minister said, “I assure you what happened to us will not happen to you. Even today, I say let’s come and sit together for Pakistan to solve the country’s problems.”
