KARACHI: (Suno News) Manzoor Wassan, the senior vice president of PPP Sindh, has forecasted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif might dissolve the National Assembly within the next three months.

Wassan said that the next three months were very crucial for the prime minister, saying that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif might not become the next prime minister in the current government.

He said that after the dissolution of the National Assembly, the PPP would see what kind of setup emerges. However, he added, the remaining provincial assemblies would stay intact.

Regarding the political climate for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its founder Imran Khan, Wassan said, "I do not foresee favourable conditions for the PTI founder and other politicians. Even if they receive relief, it is often short-lived. The PTI founder should not remain in a state of delusion.”

Also in September 2023, the PPP senior leader forecasted that there was a possibility of his party’s alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) but it could not mature.
