Private TV channels quoting sources claimed that after the verdict in the Toshakhana-II case, both Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi are expected to be moved from Adiala Jail.
Sources said a special jail has been prepared in the Qasim Market area of Rawalpindi. All legal requirements and arrangements have been completed. A staff of 40 prison officials has already been deployed there since July 31.
The responsibility of the special jail has been handed over to a DSP Prison officer. Nearly 40 staff members were transferred from Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum jails to Rawalpindi for this purpose.
According to officials, DIG Prisons Rawalpindi Region Rana Rauf issued a notification for the staff transfers. A strict security and monitoring plan has also been finalized. The 40-member staff will remain on duty round the clock inside the special jail.

Preparing a separate prison with 24-hour staff indicates extraordinary security measures. This move could spark new political debate and raise further questions about the government’s next steps.
