
According to details, the decision to relieve Ali Amin Gandapur of his position was made during a meeting between PTI’s Member of National Assembly (MNA) Junaid Akbar Khan and Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. The meeting was also attended by MNA Atif Khan, Punjab assembly opposition leader Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar, and Punjab Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mian Farhat Abbas.
During this occasion, PTI leader Salman Akram Raja, while speaking informally with the media outside the court, announced that Junaid Akbar has been appointed as the new president of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Additionally, former PTI MNA Aliya Hamza is expected to be given a significant organizational role in Punjab.
Salman Akram Raja also stated that if the government facilitates a meeting with the negotiation committee on January 28, PTI will review its stance. He reiterated PTI’s demand for the formation of a commission before further proceedings, as per Imran Khan’s directive for the government to arrange the meeting on January 28.
