Imran Khan, other PTI leaders acquitted in Section 144 violation cases

ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) A district and sessions court in Islamabad on Monday acquitted former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in the case of violating Section 144 during the party’s Azadi March.
The court also acquitted other PTI leaders including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, Qasim Suri, and Faisal Javed in the case.
Judge Mureed Abbas Khan of the district and sessions court heard acquittal pleas of the PTI leaders in the Section 144 violation cases registered at Karachi Company police station.
Lawyers Naeem Panjutha, Sardar Masroof Khan, and Amna Ali appeared before the court and presented arguments on the acquittal pleas.
