Instead of joining any single political party, he has decided to become part of the “Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aeen Pakistan”, a coalition of opposition parties formed to safeguard the constitution and promote democratic values in the country.
According to details, Mushtaq Ahmed met with Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the head of the movement, and Allama Nasir Abbas to discuss the current political situation, the supremacy of the constitution, and the need for national unity. During the meeting, he expressed full agreement with the alliance’s manifesto and announced his unconditional support.
The Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aeen Pakistan was established earlier this year in April and includes several major opposition groups such as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party, Balochistan National Party (BNP), Sunni Ittehad Council, and Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen.

Political analysts believe that Mushtaq Ahmed’s inclusion will significantly strengthen the alliance and could bring new momentum to the opposition’s efforts.
In his remarks, Mushtaq Ahmed emphasized that the platform aims to ensure the supremacy of the constitution and rule of law through collective struggle, saying, “This united movement will play a decisive role in shaping Pakistan’s future politics.”
