(Web Desk): Punjab government launches Himmat Card stipend program to support special persons with financial aid and essential facilities.

The Government of Punjab has launched a new welfare initiative under the Himmat Card stipend program to support persons with disabilities and special needs. The goal is to provide financial relief and make their daily lives easier.

Under this program, individuals holding Himmat Cards will receive a stipend of Rs10,500 every three months. For visually impaired persons, the amount has been increased to Rs12,000. The government will also provide wheelchairs to help improve their mobility and independence.

Officials said the Special Person Identity Card is essential to access these benefits. Persons with disabilities are urged to obtain their identity cards to easily receive stipends and other government facilities.

The registration process is simple and accessible. Applicants can send their CNIC number via SMS to 8123 to complete registration without visiting offices.

According to the government spokesperson, the Himmat Card stipend program is a comprehensive welfare scheme that provides both financial assistance and basic facilities. It aims to help special persons live with dignity and become active members of society.
