Abu Dhabi Airports confirmed that AirSial will operate three weekly flights to Lahore and four weekly flights to Islamabad from Zayed International Airport (AUH). The move highlights the growing travel demand between Pakistan and the UAE, supported by social, business and workforce ties.
The airline’s inaugural flight landed at AUH this week, with passengers benefiting from streamlined airport procedures, including a notably short 12-minute transition from gate to curb. Travelers also gained access to more than 160 retail outlets at the airport.

Abu Dhabi Airports MD and CEO Elena Sorlini welcomed AirSial, saying the new routes reinforce the airport’s strategy to expand connectivity and serve diverse global communities. AirSial Chairman Fazal Jilani said the launch strengthens long-standing relations between Pakistan and the UAE while offering a convenient travel option for both residents and businesses.
AirSial, backed by Sialkot’s business community, has expanded steadily from domestic routes to regional destinations. Its addition to AUH’s network follows similar moves by other carriers.
Etihad Airways resumed non-stop flights to Peshawar on 29 September 2025, starting with five flights per week and planning daily operations in November. Air Arabia Abu Dhabi also launched three weekly flights to Sialkot in July, while flydubai continues to serve multiple cities in Pakistan, including Quetta.
