
February 5 which falls on a Wednesday, will be observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day. On this day, public holidays will be granted to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people, who are suffering under Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
This day is observed every year in Pakistan to show support for the Kashmiri people s struggle for self-determination. The students and public sector employees are awaiting the official notification, which is expected to be issued in the coming days.
The Kashmir day is part of Islamabad’s commitment to raising awareness about the human rights violations of Kashmiris under New Delhi’s illegal occupation.
Every year on Kashmir Day, rallies, seminars, and special events are held in Pakistan, as the country continues to voice its support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and condemns the use of force by Indian troops in the region.
