
A two-member delegation from the British High Commission met with Tahir Naeem, a British citizen imprisoned at Adiala Jail, with the permission of prison authorities.
The meeting, which lasted for about an hour, was held in the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail.
According to sources, the diplomatic staff, escorted under tight security, inquired about Naeem’s physical and mental well-being, the nature of the charges, and the progress of the trial.
The prisoner also voiced concerns regarding his legal situation and other personal grievances.

Tahir Naeem was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sialkot in connection with a drug-related case. He is facing charges of illegal possession and smuggling of narcotics.
Following his arrest, he was placed on judicial remand and transferred to Adiala Jail. The case is still pending trial, and his legal team is actively pursuing his defense in court.
The meeting was conducted in accordance with the British High Commission’s policy of providing consular support to its citizens detained abroad.
After the meeting, the diplomats left the jail and are expected to submit a report to the UK government, possibly recommending further action based on their findings.
