The airline said its offices would remain functional in the country.
Qatar Airways was established in 1993. The airline is owned by the State of Qatar. It is being operated from its hub at Hamad International Airport in Doha. The airline has secured a spot among the world’s leading airlines. The airline is also known for its modern fleet, luxurious amenities, and extensive route network.
The few reports, which were circulating last week, claim that Qatar Airways was going to shut down its offices and calling off its operations across Pakistan.
“Qatar Airways flights to and from Pakistan are operating as usual and our offices remain open,” the airline said in a post on social media site, X (formerly Twitter). “Recent published reports claiming that Qatar Airways has closed offices in Pakistan are incorrect,” it added.
It is pertinent to mention that the Qatar Airways started operations in Pakistan in 1994. Primarily, the airways began flying to Karachi, but it has spanned its services to other major Pakistani cities, including Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.
