Pakistani Athletes win big at Seychelles Nature Trail Event

(Web desk): Minister Attaullah Tarar congratulates Pakistani runners for their outstanding performance in Seychelles.

Pakistani athletes made the nation proud by excelling in the Seychelles Nature Trail Challenge 2025, a global mountain trail event held on August 23. The event featured a 22 km track with over 1,200 meters elevation, winding through the scenic Morne Seychellois National Park.

A total of 169 runners from 16 countries took part, including 52 international participants from countries like Pakistan, South Africa, France, Germany, and UAE. Among them were Waqar Ahmed, Umar Zaman, Muzammil Shehzad, Mohsin Ijaz, Anam Azeer, and Neelab Kiani, who earned recognition for their impressive performance.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, congratulated the team and called their success a "proud moment for the whole country." He said the athletes have shown that Pakistan’s sports talent is world-class.

He especially appreciated the female runners, Anam Azeer from Lahore and Neelab Kiani from Islamabad, who are now gaining international attention and respect. Tarar highlighted that Pakistani women athletes are proudly representing the country through their resilience, talent, and dedication, helping shape a positive image of Pakistan worldwide.
