This initiative brings vital identity services directly to communities across Pakistan. Complementing this expansion, NADRA has also upgraded its Pak ID mobile app, improving digital access for parents and rural residents.
Essential identity documentation at nearby UC offices can now be completed. This initiative eliminates the need for long journeys to central NADRA centers. The services now available include:
Issuance and renewal of Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs)
· Child Registration Certificates (B-Forms)
· Family Registration Certificates (FRCs)
· Marital status updates (married, divorced, widowed)
· ID card cancellations
This rollout began on July 1, 2025, initially in selected locations: UCs in Islamabad (Saidpur, Sihala, Model Town, Koral, I-10/4), Chakwal’s Mureed area, and Gujrat’s Daulat Nagar. Plans to cover more rural and underserved areas have been underscored by NADRA.
Meanwhile, Karachi’s mobile biker delivery service has been expanded from three to eight units. This expansion will reduce crowding at service centres and facilitate doorstep delivery of CNICs.
A comprehensive upgrade feature has been received by NADRA s Pak ID mobile application.
Users can now upload photos from their gallery optimized for official printing—especially for parents applying for CNICs or B-Forms for children under three. Users can register unlisted family members easily as family record updates are now streamlined.
Users don’t have to go through biometrics. They can submit applications without fingerprints or facial scans in certain cases, and the Urdu interface has been enhanced.
These features also support real-time ID tracking, online fee payment via Easypaisa, JazzCash, and e-Sahulat, and appointment booking at NADRA centers.
The UC-based service hubs are now live in selected areas, offering convenient, local access to key identity services.
To access enhanced digital features, residents are encouraged to download or update the Pak ID app (available on both Android and iOS).
