Youm-e-Takbeer is celebrated annually to honor Pakistan’s achievement as the first Muslim-majority country and the seventh nation in the world to develop nuclear weapons. The tests were conducted as a strategic response to India’s nuclear detonations earlier that month.

The day is seen as a symbol of national pride and resilience, reflecting Pakistan s commitment to maintaining a credible defense capability in the region.
