(Web Desk): Pakistani alpinist Sajid Ali Sadpara has conquered Dhaulagiri—the world’s seventh-highest peak at 8,167 m—without using supplemental oxygen.

He completed the ascent with logistical backing from Seven Summit Treks Nepal and Sabroso Pakistan, and relied on technical gear supplied by Kailas.

Renowned for its steep slopes and volatile weather, Dhaulagiri sits in north-central Nepal and ranks among the toughest of the 8,000-metre giants.

Sadpara, who has previously summited several 8,000 m peaks—often oxygen-free—demonstrates exceptional stamina and climbin

g prowess at extreme altitudes. His latest triumph has been lauded both within Pakistan’s mountaineering community and by international climbing bodies.

The son of the late Muhammad Ali Sadpara—who was lost during a winter ascent of K2 in 2021—Sajid is now driven to fulfil his father’s ambition: to scale all fourteen of the world’s highest mountains without supplemental oxygen.

He has already reached K2’s summit twice, including once oxygen-free, and remains active in high-altitude rescue operations, notably on K2.
