(Web Desk) Due to intermittent suspension of flight operations at several airports, multiple Hajj flights have either been cancelled or delayed, according to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

A total of 13 Hajj flights were affected—4 were cancelled while nine were delayed. Among the cancelled flights, two each were operated by Saudia Airlines from Islamabad and Lahore.

Three flights from Lahore, two each from Islamabad and Quetta, and one each from Multan and Karachi faced disruptions.

The spokesperson noted that the temporary suspension of flight operations impacted the travel schedules of approximately 3,080 Hajj pilgrims.

While most flights eventually departed after brief delays, 345 pilgrims left behind due to cancellations were flown out today via a special PIA flight from Islamabad. Another 540 pilgrims are scheduled to depart on special flights from Islamabad and Lahore.

To assist affected passengers, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has established a dedicated helpline (051-9216980) for real-time updates on Hajj flight schedules.

Pilgrims are encouraged to call the helpline for departure times and travel updates, and to stay in touch with their respective Hajj camps for further assistance.
