ISLAMABAD (Suno News): The repatriation of Pakistani pilgrims from Saudi Arabia is set to begin today (June 10).

According to the report, the first return flight will depart from Jeddah at 11:50 PM on June 10 and is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad at 3:00 AM on June 11. This flight will bring back 307 pilgrims who performed the shorter Hajj.

On June 11 alone, eight flights carrying pilgrims will land in Pakistan. These Hajj flights will arrive in Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, and Karachi. The entire repatriation operation is expected to conclude by July 10, once all pilgrims have returned home.

The report further states that one week after the start of this Hajj flight operation, flights from Madinah will also begin. Over the course of a month-long operation, a total of 88,390 pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme will be brought back to Pakistan.

A total of 342 flights will be operated under the government Hajj scheme, with participation from Pakistan’s national and private airlines, as well as Saudi carriers, to ensure the timely and safe return of the pilgrims.

It’s worth noting that the return journey of the pilgrims began after they performed the stoning ritual (Ramy al-Jamarat) in Mina. After completing this rite, the pilgrims traveled back to Makkah, from where their journey home will commence.
