The Punjab government is ready to start the second phase of its free laptop scheme, which will give thousands more students laptops to help with their studies. This program is meant to help young learners use digital tools for better education and to close the technology gap.
In the first phase, over 14,000 laptops were handed out to students in Lahore. Now, the government plans to take this help to more districts, so even more students can benefit.
The Higher Education Department says the laptop distribution will begin next month, and the full schedule is already set. The Punjab Chief Minister is expected to officially start the new phase in early September.
