
Mild earthquake tremors were felt in various parts of Karachi on Friday morning, creating panic among residents. According to initial reports, tremors were experienced in Gulzar Hijri, University Road, Quaidabad, and Shah Faisal Colony.
The earthquake occurred at 9:54 a.m., and according to the Seismological Center, it measured 3.2 on the Richter scale. The depth of the quake was recorded at 35 kilometers beneath the earth s surface.
As the tremors struck, citizens rushed out of their homes and buildings in fear. Many people were seen gathering in open spaces, reciting verses from the Holy Quran and seeking safety.

Thankfully, no casualties or property damage were reported in the immediate aftermath of the quake. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation.
It is worth noting that this was the 39th time Karachi has experienced earthquake tremors since June 1, raising concerns among experts and residents about the increased seismic activity in the region.
